Wooden structures:

For the manufacture of the wooden structures in the Nuage range, SOLLEN has opted for high quality woods such as oak, walnut and birch. These woods come from sustainably managed forests and are labeled PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), guaranteeing responsible forest management which contributes to the preservation of the environment. The selected woods, recognized for their resistance and natural beauty, are then transformed by our partner in Charente-Maritime. This company is distinguished by the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, a recognition from the French State which highlights the excellence of its artisanal and industrial know-how in the design of molded wood intended for furniture.

Corian® top

Corian® is a solid surface material developed by the DuPont company. It is composed of acrylic resin and natural minerals, most often Aluminum TriHydrate. This non-porous material has good stain resistance and is easy to clean. It offers great design versatility thanks to its ability to be engraved, colored and thermoformed. It is suitable for all environments and is the material of choice for architects and designers specializing in healthcare establishments, catering, hotels, offices, schools and, of course, residential. Corian® is valued for its durability and ability to take almost any shape imaginable.

Here are some recommendations for maintaining the wooden structures of our NUAGE tables in perfect condition:

– Wood maintenance: The wooden legs and structure of the Daybed should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. To maintain the shine of the wood, you can occasionally apply a wax or a specific wood care product, following the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure that the product is suitable for the type of wood of your Daybed (oak, walnut, etc.).

– Ventilation: Make sure the table is placed in a well-ventilated environment to avoid the accumulation of moisture which could affect the wood.

Here are some tips for maintaining Corian®:

– Regular cleaning: Use soapy water, an ammonia-based cleaner (not window cleaner) or a specific cleaner for solid surfaces. Always clean using a circular motion.
– Stain Prevention: Although liquids cannot penetrate Corian®, it is best to wipe up spills as soon as they occur.

It is very important to rinse well and dry completely after cleaning to avoid film buildup which can dull the appearance of the surface. With proper maintenance, your Corian® surface will remain beautiful for many years.
