The fabric of the NUAGE Sofa is a wool-effect loop fabric recycled at 100%, labeled GRS (Global Recycled Standard). With 6% cotton and 94% recycled polyester, it embodies SOLLEN's commitment to sustainable innovation and responsible luxury. For the manufacture of the wooden structures in the Nuage range, SOLLEN has opted for high quality woods such as oak, walnut and birch. These woods come from sustainably managed forests and are labeled PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), guaranteeing responsible forest management which contributes to the preservation of the environment. The selected woods, recognized for their resistance and natural beauty, are then transformed by our partner in Charente-Maritime. This company is distinguished by the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, a recognition from the French State which highlights the excellence of its artisanal and industrial know-how in the design of molded wood intended for furniture.

Here are some recommendations to keep your NUAGE Sofa in perfect condition:

– Regular cleaning: For the looped wool fabric that covers the daybed mattress, regular dusting with a vacuum cleaner equipped with a soft brush is recommended. This helps remove dust and allergens without damaging the fabric.

– Treatment of stains: In the event of a stain, it is recommended to act quickly. Dab the stain with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Avoid rubbing to avoid damaging the fabric fibers. For more stubborn stains, use a mild cleaning solution specifically designed for the type of fabric in question. Always test cleaning products on a small, inconspicuous area before treating the stain.

– Protection from the sun: Although the Nuage Sofa is designed to provide exceptional strength and durability, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may affect the color of the fabric. It is therefore advisable to position the sofa out of direct sunlight or to use curtains or blinds to minimize exposure.

– Wood maintenance: The wooden legs and structure of the Daybed should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. To maintain the shine of the wood, you can occasionally apply a wax or a specific wood care product, following the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure that the product is suitable for the type of wood of your Daybed (oak, walnut, etc.).

– Ventilation: Make sure the sofa is placed in a well-ventilated environment to avoid the accumulation of moisture which could affect both the fabric and the wood.
